When does the Chamber Meet? Do I have to attend a meeting?
The Chamber meets monthly in person or virtually via Zoom. Attendance is not required at the regular business meetings, but your input is welcome and important to the organization. You will receive a notice of the meeting time and place, an agenda, and a copy of the minutes each month, and you will have a vote in all of the major decisions. Our meetings are open to the public.
Who runs the Chamber of Commerce?
You do! Each Chamber member has a voice through their participation and their vote, and the unity of the many voices in our organization will take us into the economic future of Sharon Springs. The Chamber elects the officers and board members at large. The Board of The Sharon Springs Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary group of businesses and patrons working together to build a healthy economy and improve the quality of life in our historic community.
